Artist Statement

As a representational artist, I seek to capture the spiritual essence of natural wonders and reflect the Divine encounter one experiences when confronted with the majesty of Creation. My work draws inspiration from the mid-19th Century Hudson River School along with the California Impressionist Movement of the early 20th Century, and seeks to evoke a sense of awe and wonder at the world around us through brushwork and color.
